Description

Another inspired piece, based on Sybil Atteck’s painting of bathers at the Valencia River.

Here I use the direct silk painting technique and overpainting, to illustrate the bending bamboo stalks over the winding river path, and symbols of a church which is situated on a grassy field near the river’s edge.
