Workshop required that participants learned the basics of Textile Design and applying it to the Silk Painting. Each person would create a design, put it into square repeat, repeat in half-drop, and toss repeat. Paint the design in a monochromatic colour story, and complimentary colour story. Apply what was learnt on the discs and scalf lengths. (There was a ‘beginners’ class – one week- which used three discs, and an ‘advanced’ class – two weeks – which went on to the scalf lengths.)
